There's a new search engine called Ask.com.
Go to Ask.com and type in "Alpha-1." After the paid ads on top (faintly indicated by a blue background), the second reference is to Spiderspun.net.
This is my favorite Alpha-1 web site.
It's packed with links to vital information sites and researchers. It has personal Alpha stories and chat rooms. It has the feel of a real person behind it. The personality of Noreen, its creator, is all over it.
It's not perfect. Pages are a little hard to read because they're so dang pretty. (Noreen is an artist and graphics designer.) It's not updated very often and I'm sure it has other faults. But as a warm, honest and very personal introduction to Alpha-1, it's hard to beat.
Look up Alpha-1 on Google. Spiderspun is way, way down on the list of links. So Google isn't perfect, either.
